I believe in the bible as God’s sacred word. Therefore, I believe
that the man is the head of the house and the family period. (Here
comes the hard part for most people) When the bible says for women
to submit to her husband it does not say submit part way or three
quarters. The wife must submit completely to her husband. A true
Christian woman wants her husband’s control. He takes off of her
all those “husband” duties that she has been performing and allows
her to assume her natural role, that of mother, wife and nurturer.
She is available for him when he wants her ‘biblically” without
question. Being head of the house and in control does NOT mean me
getting waited on hand-and-foot or getting my way all the time. It
means it is my responsibility to ensure the financial, emotional
and spiritual well being of those under my care. It means setting
rules for the kids that are fair AND enforced. |
