Hi. I'm Margo. I'm 23 years old, I don't know what I want to be
when I grow up. But I'm enjoying the journey.
For a few
years now, I've been living on autopilot.. I ate, breathed,
shopped, studied...and generally went through life...without
knowing why. I made decisions based on how i felt at the time..
still, the deeper questions of life haunted me.. "Why am I here?"
"Who am I? Where do I want to go? And how can I get there?" I sat
in coffee shops, chapters bookstores, read widely, and even
attended university for a year, but the answers continue to elude
me.. Yet, inside, was the hope that one day I would
know.
I'm always where I need to be. And that's where I
should want to be.. maybe someday I'll need to be where I want to
be.. So for now, I'll just have to want to be where I need to
be.
i love a lot. this is a modest list of things that make
me smile.
croutons. running. vegetarianism. gas stations
after 10pm. flying with carry-on only. driving. unapologetically
visible tattoos. grammar. new york. california, and texas. people
that can draw. movies that are more real than real life. my
brother. the rain. singing/playing guitar for someone i love. my
kayak. snowboarding/skiing. hair. good hair. thai cuisine. art. my
mother. waking up at 7am to find out there's a snowstorm and
everything is closed. campfires. grocery shopping after 3am.
smoothies. my father. intense conversations. people that don't
speak english. text messages. cloves. magic tricks. shivering. the
confidence that comes from clarity born of confusion.

my imagination when i was younger. i have them to thank for the
fact that i will never be satisfied with reality.
