My name is Gary and I call home in Alliance, Ohio. I am a Combat
Firefighter currently contracted in Ba'Qubah, Iraq, 30 miles north
of Baghdad. I am proud to protect those protecting our Country! It
is my contribution to 9/11. The job these men and women are doing
is simply incredible! They believe in the USA and their mission. I
have left my good friends behind and I appreciate all of them for
their support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I belong to
two Fire Departments back home. One volunteer (LFD)and one paid
(NFJFD). I hope to be called back to a third that is currently
stuggling with finances (BFD). I am a Police Officer for a very
understanding Village nearby. They are also in support of me and
what I am doing. And for my fellow Firefighters and the Chief at
LFD, thank you! Keep things rolling there for all of you are in my
thoughts daily! I keep busy and love it! I love the risk involved.
I am good under pressure. I am a very passionate about the Fire
Service and find it pleasantly challenging. I am told I am funny,
quick witted and sarcastic with a dirty joke once in a while. I
don't believe in playing games with people. I tell people how it is
and how I feel. I won't waste your time as long as you don't waste
mine. I am not needy but would like to be needed again someday. If
